We would like to officially invite 2 students and 2 or 3 teachers from each school of the Education without Frontiers Network- Europroject, to the ACT Conference organised by the 2nd Experimental General Lyceum of Kalamaria. The “ACT – Amplify Critical Thinking”conference will take place in Thessaloniki, Greece from 6th to 10th October 2026.
The conference will bring together 18 school delegations, including students and teachers from 16 European countries that are members of the “Europroject – Education without Frontiers” network.
On 7 and 8 October 2026 (09:00–16:00), the conference sessions will take place in the facilities of the MET Hotel. Following the opening ceremony, participants will engage in two-day structured workshops for educators and students, focusing on global and active citizenship, the development of critical thinking, and participation in democratic life.
On 9 October 2026, teachers and students will be welcomed to our school premises at the 2nd Experimental General Lyceum of Kalamaria. The conference will conclude with a theatrical performance at Sofouli Theatre (17:30). The performance, in which all European students will participate, aims to present in an original, experiential, and creative way the reflections and concerns of the younger generation regarding the conference’s central theme, which they will have explored and discussed during the workshops of the preceding days.
Looking forward to seeing you in Thessaloniki
